My first post, my first experience with zenPhoto (great product guys, thanks). I have been modifying the zpMinimal theme (great theme Greg, thanks) and when I thought I was all done my boss noticed a problem. I changed back to the Default theme and still had the problem.
When we select an album then hit Play Slideshow it shows the slideshow for that album. Then if we go to a different album and click Play Slideshow it will play the slideshow for first album. As if the global $_zp_current_album had not been updated. This is an intermittent problem. We have tested it on Chrome, IE, FF and Opera and on five different computers. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
If I clear the HTML cache it solves the problem but I need to be able to prevent the problem if the first place.
I have searched the forum to no avail.
Has anyone else run into this?

I'll dig into it a little deeper and try using the official slideshow plugin if that is not what s being used now.
Note that zpMinimal is not ready for 1.4.1
@gjr: I had the memory that one of your themes uses both the official and another slideshow. Was not sure which one (this it is indeed not).
It works for me with the Zenpage theme and the slideshow as always so being a theme issue is my best guess so far.
Since I posted this I have been directed to radically revise the site so I have not had time to see if this is still an issue.
However:
@gjr, I don't believe it is a theme issue. But I welcome you help anyway.
@acrylian, From the gallery page I have 15 albums, no subalbums. If I click on the "Kitchens" album first (for example, it could be any album) then click "view slideshow" it shows the photos in the Kitchen album, then if I go back to the gallery and click the "Wine Cellars" album and then click "view slideshow" it shows me the photos in the first ("Kitchens" in this case) album. Any other album I go to will show the photos from the Kitchens album. As if the variable $_zp_current_album were not getting updated.
As I said clearing the HTML cache solved the problem and it was intermittent so perhaps it won't happen again once I'm done revising everything.
If it does I'll bump this thread because obviously I can't release the site if it's doing that and believe it not I am under pressure to get the site released (imagine that).
Thanks again to both of you for your help.
Otherwise you should try a standard theme like for example the Zenpage theme and see if it works there. If it does, it is the zpMinimal theme. If not it might be a bug, then you need to file a ticket.
