Starting Zenphoto from another PHP-programm

Hello!

Is there a problem to start Zenphoto from another programm? I would like to start it from WP and I couldn't find any hinderance. Are there hidden problem that I am not aware of?

    Starting from WP as a WP plugin does not work because of the way WP does plugins. People have come up with solutions to the root issue of integrating Zenphoto with WordPress--you should be able to find references in this forum or the ZP site proper.

    It is a technical thing, so you can stop reading here if you wish.

    WP launches plugins from within a function call. This has the result of making all variables used in the global scope of the plugin become local variables to the WP launch function causing Zenphoto not to have a global scope.
