"Sending Form is not complete"

Hej to all,
little trouble with my Zenphoto 1.4.1....
When i make some changes in a subfolder (in admin-Zenphoto-album)
where i can give the metadata, desciption etc. and click on the OK-Button i get the Errormessage:
"Das Absenden des Formulars ist nicht komplett. " in german. (Think that means: Sending form is not complete) but i don´t know why... There is no more information...
That problem does not occure to every subfolder only by 2-3

What can i do ? The page itselfs works fine.

Thanks for help
Rolf

  • Typically this is caused by your browser (or host server) limiting the number of characters that can be sent in a "submit form". If you have chosen to show more than 10 images on the image tab, set it back to 10.

The problem will only occur when there is a lot of data to submit, so more empty albums might not show it. You can try a different browser. Also check with your hosting provider and see it the server/PHP is limiting this submission.
  • Hej sbillard,
thanks for your information. After a lot of tests it seems that the problem may be due to the FireFox 5.0.... Trying the IE9.0 the problem does not occur again....
  • Hej sbillard,
sorry, but my study - regarding the browser- seems to be not correct.
It worked several times good with the IE 9.0 but now i have the same problems again.
My newest observational researches are that if there are less than 8 images in a folder everything works fine. If there are more than 8 or 9 the error message occurs.
I asked my provider, but he does not know something about that you wrote in your first answer.
I checked my settings to every album to be "10", but there is no difference between "10" or "20" images. (i tried that)

At this time i can´t manage my folders with more than 8 images and that makes me a little bit sad.

Do you have some other solution or a workaround in your "pocket"??

    Thanks for help.
  • Sorry, there is no means to change the minimum images displayed.

BTW, I am running IE9 without this issue, so I doubt it is really a browser limitation. I suggest you speak with your provider to see if there is a limit configured into the server.
