cache FULL images

When I first installed zenphoto yesterday, full images were automatically cached in the cache folder with suffixes "_FULL"

Today those full image are missing. I've been all over zenphoto trying to figure out what to do to regenerate those files. I checked cache full images, and I tried every variation of protecting and unprotecting them.

Any suggestions?

I should add that I'm using the latest version and theme stopdesign.

  • I figgered it out. You have to alter the max width indication.

Go to zp-core/admin-options.php?page=options&tab=theme then for Image Size put in a value that is smaller than the longest side of most of your images. That will trigger a generation of watermarked (if you choose) cached full sized images.

???? Maxwidth can have NOTHING to do with FULL images--those are taken raw from your album folders.

Anyway, Zenphoto does not remove any images from the cache unless directed to do so, so if images are missing someone has caused it to happen.

Full images are placed in the cache iff the option is set and the protection is proteced image. Then they are cached when you view the image--do so and look at the browser address bar.
  • That is interesting. When I reset the max then new full images were generated, but only for some of the pictures. I may try a fresh install to see what happens with it.

As you surely know images are only cached on discovery, if you access an image via the site. Zenphoto does not automatically precache anything. See the diagramm on the troubleshooting about this.
