zpMasonry slideshow image border and caption truncated in IE 8

ZpMasonry 1.4 and 1.4.1 with IE 8:
If the crop thumbnail to landscape orientation option is not checked, the slideshow images on front page have the right edge cut off so that black border and part of image caption does not display. If there is a quick CSS fix for that, please let me know.

Option I use is Options > Themes > Custom Theme Options > (03) Crop Album Thumbs to Landscape Orientation? Unchecked

Really like theme, especially once all the quirks are fixed.

  • This happens also when thumbs are cropped to landscape orientation.

Sorry, I am not able to check on IE8 at the moment, just IE9. Please look at demo and see if you see the issue there (I unchecked the option), and report here. Thanks!
  • Yes it is ok on your demo site. Your search box is also okay on that page. On my pages, the search is pushed to the far left above the logo/header and its selection arrow is to the far right (I beleive someone else reported that).

This is for a clean install of your 141 theme. I've cleared my browser cache and the image cache within Zenphoto. Turned off menu manager, print album menu, zenpage plugins. If there is anything else I need to do to get rid of any leftovers, let me know.

If it matters, I am using version 1.404. Had to downgrade from 1.4.1 because of a bug with selecting search options which they may have fixed now.

Perhpas you could tell me what options you have set up for your demo site and I can match those settings to see if that fixes this on my end.
  • I installed Zenphoto 141 with latest build (did not upgrade) and above problems have disappeared.

Do not know what could have been messed up although I had upgraded previously. With all set to defaults, all is well so will start customizing some of the gallery options and enabling some of the plugins, etc.

    Thanks!

Yes, the latest release has numerous fixes for 1.4.1, so previous versions of Zenphoto will probably not look or work right with zpMasonry 1.4.1.
