How to use Slideshows

Hi,
I am a brand new ZenPhoto user, first install today using Zenpage theme. I read on this site that there's a slideshow included in the shipped installation, but it's not showing as an option on my album pages and I have not found any activation switch in the Admin pages.
Can someone point me in the right direction please. I am an experienced old-timer programmer who plays around in php - I should be able to figure it out if someone could just open the door a little. I am afraid the slideshow user guide page was no help.

    Yes, lots of features are modular and plugin based. That way your site just has to load what it actually needs.
