Support for .dng .raw and cr2 files

cannot get zenphoto to render images with .dng, .raw and .cr2 endings. I have ImageMagic installed. Any ideas on what to do? Its a fresh install with new database using latest Zenphoto 1.4.1.2

  • You say that you have ImageMagick installed, but do you have the Imagick PHP extension as well? They are two separate things. Zenphoto uses the Imagick extension, not ImageMagick directly.

    Also, it's generally not a good idea to be uploading raw formats such as those. Processing those kinds of images will most likely bring your server to its knees. I would suggest to use smaller, converted images with Zenphoto. If you need to provide the raw formats to your users, I would link them in your theme from outside of Zenphoto so as to avoid processing them.

    Google is your friend: http://pecl.php.net/package/imagick
    But unless your are managing the server yourself (what I doubt) your hos will have to install that on the server.
