Dear zenphoto community,
I tried switching on "persistend archives" in the options/gallery section to minimize the time it takes for a user to download an album. I take it that zenphoto otherwise creates the album on the fly, thus taking longer to zip everything together?
Initially that worked. But when i changed anything within an album, eg. added a photo or a new subalbum, or deleted a photo, the zipfile wouldn't update. I searched the forums and google, and couldn't find much of help.
Before i start to hack (comparing timestamps, delete the zip on upload of photos, comparing zip content with album...) I wanted to ask if this is a known and fixed issue or not.
Thank you for the help,
regards,
alex

If I delete the file, then you are right, it works, but I can't do that with 1000+ users.
I came up with the idea to add functionality to the "confirm" button in the backend when uploading or deleting albums or images. I could just erase the zip file, when a user changes anything in his user-album... But that seemed kind of harsh. I'll try it out though.
