Help required please
I have run into an error with version 1.4.1.3 [7990] of zen photo / zpGalleriffic_v1.4.1, i have wanted to add extra images to my site and have gone into the options to create a new album and i get an error

The album couldn't be created in the 'albums' folder. This is usually a permissions problem. Try setting the permissions on the albums and cache folders to be world-writable using a shell: chmod 777 /albums//cache/, or use your FTP program to give everyone write permissions to those folders

I have gone into CuteFTP and have changed the permissions in the folder options from 757 to 777 as i thought that this may have been an issue but it still happens, I have tried creating folders under album via CuteFTP but i get an error stating that i cannot create a folder?
I have then gone into backup to see if i could create another backup as per usual and have received the following error

I have now hit a brick wall, i have attached the log in zenphoto incase this shown any other issue but it just shows that a folder cannot be created, the only difference that i have had today is that i have used the create a folder option in the upload section, is this a bug ? or have i buggered something somewhere, any help would be most greatful

But your error message from the backup attempt would seem to indicate that there is an issue with you disk usage. (I know that you say it looks ok, but the error message says otherwise.)
If there is a disk quota issue it could also prevent Zenphoto from creating the album folder. That would result in the inavlid folder name error you got.
Anyway, it would seem something is preventing the folder from being created. So you will need to check with your hosting service and see what gives.
