Panorama-Flash- "Image" possible under ZenPhoto?

Hej,
i want to upload in future some Panorama - images, which will be generated by PTGui like this ( http://www.360cities.net/gigapixel/strahov-library.html?v=-81.9,-0.5,97 or this http://www.ptgui.com/gallery/space_shuttle_atlantis_1_panorama.html ) so that the user can scroll in the image vertically and horizontally.

When i understood that in the right way, than the image uses flash and i have to upload "some" files to the server, that that will work in the right way.

But what about zenphoto... when i create an album in zenphoto and put "some ptgui-files.html + more" into the album, does zenphoto work with them?
Does somebody knew that? What plugins do i have to active in zenphoto?

Thanks for hints and your help...
Rolf

  • You need the proper plugin to display items that are not pictures. The textobject plugin will make the html files available. However it will not add the `?v=81.9,-0.5,97` query parameters. For that you will have to make a customized version of the plugin.
  • Hej,
thanks for your answer, but sorry, but it helped me not really.

My newest information are, that the complete Filelist for a panorama to work are:

    IMG_7009 Panorama.htm
    IMG_7009 Panorama_00.jpg
    IMG_7009 Panorama_01.jpg
    ....
    IMG_7009 Panorama_14.jpg
    PTGuiViewer.js
    PTGuiViewer.swf

    -----

So i uploaded them to an album called "pano" and this is the result for my doing.... http://www.rl-foto.de/zenphoto/panos/ (class-textobject is activate)

So that is not my expected result you can guess... But do you think that there is a way to realize that in a correct way?

My intension is to get this under Zenphoto : http://www.rl-foto.de/zenphoto/albums/panos/IMG_7009 Panorama.htm

    Thanks

I don't know that script but I assume it builds the 360 degree view from separate images then, right?
Then you need to write a plugin or theme function to get the images of that album and pass it to this script to build it.

To be clear without some coding work and therefore some knowledge of PHP and JS you will not be able achieve this. It will NOT work out of the box. Take a look at Zenphoto's object model tutorial on the user guide. Better read the theming tutorial first to understand the basics of Zenphoto.

The textobject plugin will probably not be of any use (its purpose is something different).

Sorry, helping you with this in detail exceeds the possibilites on this forum.
