user_login_out plugin

I am trying to find the user_login_out plugin.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

My gallery is currently open to anyone to edit, clicking logout does no good. From my searches and reading, I understand this to be an issue with the cookies.
It is also my understanding that this plugin, combined with editing one of the pages should fix the problem

Than you in advance.

Try looking at the plugins tab.

Is "anyone" all using the same computer? If so you will need to set the album sessions option so that zenphoto does not store the logon credentials in cookies. Still you had better exit the browser when you are done.
  • Anyone means any person on any computer. I have tried to "logout" but it does not work. I have the plugin set to use sessions rather than cookies, but for some reason It allows anyone in without loging in.

I do not have different users setup, just the admin account that I use to administer the gallery.

Do you maybe use the static html cache plugin?
  • Also please note that the plugin actually has nothing to do with remembering login credentials. That is a core function. What exactly do you mean when you say "My gallery is currently open to anyone to edit"? Can they access the admin pages?

Yes, what I mean by open is that the Admin link is in the upper right hand corner.
All you have to do is click on the link Admin Toolbox->Amin and it grants you access to the Admin pages.

I have one user account setup, it is the default admin account with password.

No other accounts are used or required. No albums are password protected.

I have tried logging in from various computers some of which have never visited the page and I can still access the Admin pages without having to go through authentication.

Interestingly enough, if I open Firefox on the same machine, the Admin Toolbox link is not even shown in Firefox.

Thanks for your help! Any suggestions are appreciated.
  • That sounds very much like a browser cache or cookie issue.

At any rate, one cannot access the admin tabs unless Zenphoto had been provided a valid set of credentials. As to where those are comming from, the above is my only speculation.
  • That is why I am confused. I went into the photo gallery from a different computer which had never been to the site before, and I was still able to access tha admin pages. Is there such a thing as cookies/cache being stored on the server?
  • No, there is not. Sessions are stored on the server, though. Maybe your server is doing that wrong.

If you are using Safari by chance that often plays tricks on cookies.
