    I'm not sure, but I hope, this example is 'valid':

    - based on standard template
    - adapted to the layout of the website
    - omitting of many minor features (comments ...)
    - single image displaying in Fancybox (http://www.zenphoto.org/support/topic.php?id=10327), zapping via mouse wheel
    - link to every single image page in the description tag in Fancybox

    Thanks, that is valid as it shows an custom design. We just don't accept for the showcase gallery are predefined themes where you just change a detail like text color and add a logo. It needs look really customized but it is not expected to "re-invent the wheel" so to speak..;-) Of course a little our taste matters as well...;-)

    We always welcome new themes. So if you wish to share it that would surely be great (even if no one directly asks here as this is not the topic for this actually). However, if you share the theme as it is on your site the site will not be valid for the showcase gallery anymore.

    But instead of a showcase entry you then get a nice entry on the themes section.

    Earlier, i submitted, but it is not showcased. now i updated with new default theme with customized based bootstrap style. it is fully responsive.

    Hi,
    first of all thanks for Zenphoto, it is a great development and the more I dive into the code the more I like it.

    I have been recently working on an online gallery for an artist. I tried out several gallery management systems and finally decided to go for Zenphoto, right choice!

    I created a couple of themes, from coding perspective I am satisfied, maybe not that much from the visual part (I am an engineer ;-), your comments and suggestions are welcome.

    You can find the site at http://www.fglisnier.com

    The theme is created with Blueprint grid system, and integrates a JQuery zoom functionality for images. I am also working on a plugin to allow registered users with different levels of access to the albums, high resolution pics, etc. Currently it is some quick and dirty solution not in production yet, I plan for a full integration with zenphoto before launching it

    At the moment I am having some problems with the translation of one of the custom pages http://fglisnier.com/page/about but that one I will post for discussion in a more appropriate thread.

    finally decided to go for Zenphoto, right choice!
    We can only agree..;-) Absolutly valid site for the showcase gallery. Will add it soon.

    Quickly regarding the custom page and translation. Those pages are static extra pages. If you want normal pages with translation/multilingual capability you should use the Zenpage CMS plugin and the page management it provides. Zenpage also provides a news section aka blog (our own site is all Zenphoto except forum and bugtracker.)

    A valid site for the showcase gallery. I personally don't like the semi handwritten font but each his own..;-)

    Note: If you are really using the plain version you do you really should upgrade. Please see the security category on the news section about why.

    Nice site. You might want to correct the thumbs as some are badly squished.

    We welcome every third party theme! If you wish to provide your theme to the community, please read here how to do that: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/general-contributor-guidelines#themes-and-plugins

    If you do so, we won't add you to the showcase gallery as that is meant for (more or less) unique themed websites (see the submission rules on the same page linked above).

    - when clicking on an image from the random images, you're redirected to the gallery where you can find this image and the image itself opens directly in lightbox

    Thanks. Nice one and valid for the showcase gallery (I would have found it better if you could also use the mousewheel though).

    Regarding your plugin/code, the best actually if you would publish it on your site. If it is specific for Zenphoto best would be to follow:
