Not exactly offended actually but others might. Anyway, best try what sbillard suggested and we'll see. It is certainly generally working.
Btw, the best to give us a link to a site you don't want to be public is to put it onto your profile. Only admins/moderators can see that.

I changed the themes so many times and it didn't work, and now it does.. but on zpfocus it does not,
are there any common settings I could've changed to screw it up? the register.php and regiser_user_plugin look ok.

Seems so but that that you should ask the theme's author. Gjr reads here but also has his own support forum for his themes.
