Hello,

I've been dealing with this image issue for a bit and figured it was time to throw in the towel and see if I could get some help.

Right now some of my images are not caching/loading when being viewed. I have no idea why this is. They are all decently sized 1280x1024 ->1920x1200. I would think this is a size issue but other images work perfectly and are the same dimensions

Info:

Domain:
www.wallpapersfordesktophd.com/

Examples of images working fine: http://www.wallpapersfordesktophd.com/girls/

examples of partially loading/not working images:
http://www.wallpapersfordesktophd.com/animals/

When trying to cache these images using(Apply admin_40_cw40_ch40_thumb)none cache and I get tons of X's. I get these various errors:

Zenphoto Image Processing Error: cacheImage: failed to create /var/chroot/home/content/42/10071742/html/cache/animals/5_420.jpg

Request URI: [ /zp-core/i.php?a=animals&i=5.jpg&s=420&q=85&debug ]
PHP_SELF: [ /zp-core/i.php ]
Cache: [/cache//animals/5_420.jpg]
Image: [animals/5.jpg]

Zenphoto Image Processing Error: cacheImage: failed to create /var/chroot/home/content/42/10071742/html/cache/animals/6_40_cw40_ch40_thumb.jpg

Request URI: [ /zp-core/i.php?a=animals&i=6.jpg&s=40&c=1&cw=40&ch=40&q=75&t=1&debug ]
PHP_SELF: [ /zp-core/i.php ]
Cache: [/cache//animals/6_40_cw40_ch40_thumb.jpg]
Image: [animals/6.jpg]

Using zpskeleton theme.

Hope someone can help!

Are there other errors in the server error log? The reason could be this:
Please see: http://www.zenphoto.org/news/why-are-some-of-my-thumbnails-sized-images-not-generated-why-does-zenphoto-make-my-server-crash-while-processing-images-

or just file/folder permissions.

File Permissions for:

/cache/(allthealbums) is 0715
/cache is 0705
/albums is 0705
/albums/allthealbums/(allthepics) is 0604

I didn't see any error messages in the server logs themselves. As for your link, there are images which are bigger than the ones displaying which are working perfectly. I saw that post but it didn't seem to fit.

If images are not generated it can also be that the images are "corrupt" or their embedded meta data.

General info about recommended permissions:
http://www.zenphoto.org/news/permissions-for-zenphoto-files-and-folders
Does setup say anything about them?

Looked through the logs again (on Zenphoto not server) and found this error:

2012-11-12 07:03:07 xx.xx.xx.x XSRF access blocked wallpapersfordesktopfree Failed cacheImages
2012-11-12 18:15:44 xx.xx.xx.x XSRF access blocked wallpapersfordesktopfree Failed cacheImages

Also, how could I tell if an image or its metadata is corrupt?

I wanted to be proactive so I made another album called "testing" and added 20 pictures (first 20) which had both good and bad pictures from before. They all work! I think I am going to overwrite all 1900 while I go to work and see if it was a bad upload. Any ideas what is happening?

EDIT: Did the same 20 photo's and overwrote them into the original album. They do not work. No idea...

Cleared itself up. Apparently using an album "animals" would not work. I have no idea why. Deleted album and made animals as the folder. no luck. Deleted and made it "woof" and it works perfectly. So weird! Thanks for the help

I did have the same problem with an album "advertisements" on a site that my ad blocker blocked a bit overactive. Took quite some time to figure that out… No idea though why "animals" would cause that
