Hm, no idea why that would happen. Did you try another browser? Actually it should send the right headers with mimetype and such.

It is working on our own site (the older versions archive).

I've tried with firefox and opera, same behavior...

Edit:
The blank line actually contains two symbols: [CR][LF]

I have no idea right now, sorry. Maybe server related. Hopefully sbillard will have any more ideas.

I have no idea either, the symbols are obviously just a line break.

Googling around I've just found that adding the line ob_clean(); just before the line flush(); (603 in downloadList.php), solves the problem. May be I should open a ticket.

Yeah, a ticket is a good idea. Still weird that it works for us and not for you...

Maybe it's because I'm on a windows system and you on Mac (if I remember well). I've tried with files downloaded from localhost and from remote server (linux), and the result is the same. So the problem must be the way in which Windows manages the files when opens them.

I've opened the ticket, where I've also noticed that possibly can also be added the Content-Length Header after the fix (?)

That might be indeed. THose behave quite differently sometimes. But actually sbillard should have notice that on localhost as well. Anyway, he surely will respond and then we know more.

No, as sbillard said in a comment to the ticket, there must be something wrong in my theme. I tried a download with an official theme and the file was ok.
Sorry for not trying it before open the ticket, but I really could not imagine that this was theme related.

I didn't forget to post the link for the extension page, the matter is that I have also regular work to do, so I have not yet finished to write the hosting page for the plugin.

Since all I have learned about coding in the latest 3 years (before I didn't even know what php and javascript were) is due also to the support of the Zenphoto team, in this forum and in the bugtracker, I would like to add sbillard and acrylian to the acknowledgments.
I was wondering if you prefer a link to your own sites, or just another link to Zenphoto page. Keep in mind that I already have more than one link to Zenphoto in that page.

No hurry with the plugin and no need to apologize. It all can wait until next year..:-).

Thanks, if there is already a Zenphoto,org link we indeed don't need another one. We probably don't really need links to our sites since we were not directly involved actually. But if you like you find the links to our sites on the Zenphoto team page.

Ok, I'm ready, I hope everything is fine.
You can download the plugin here:
thumbsZoom

@acrylian:
I've added a link to your site, but at the moment it only has a Coming soon page. Let me know if you have another page to link at.

@sbillard:
I'm not sure if when you say "I don't need acknowledgment" you actually mean that you prefer not to be mentioned at all. Since I was in doubt I assumed that meaning, but If I misunderstood I will be glad to add a link to your site too.

Well, I agree with sbillard that we don't really need acknowledgement actually since we did not really do anything on that plugin. Our forum help does not need acknowledgement. But of course on the net you don't need to ask if you want to link somewhere yet ..;-)

Yes, my site is a placeholder for some time as I don't get around to finish/rework it.. Hopefully soon I will. But in any case the link will be the right one.

I will add an entry for your plugin on the ext section soon.

Thanks acrylian.

Of course acknowledgment and link are not related at all with the plugin, they are actually like a sort of tribute I felt to give to people that unconsciously introduced me in the unknown world of coding.
This plugin is the first (and probably last) "software" I make for other people

Hi all, sorry for being away for a while. I've always too many things to do. I'm back to say that I was told by an user of thumbZoom that the original version of the plugin non longer works properly with latest version of Zenphoto. So I made an update, that can be found here:

http://www.antonioranesi.it/news/thumbszoom-updated-version-1.0.1

PS
There is no need to change the link in the extensions list on this site, because the new version is also available in the original page of my site.
