i would like to see a theme that's have the lay-out of simpleviewer.
it's tight, clean and very zenphoto like.
could anyone do this, as i don't have the skills..

Interesting, but everything was done in flash. The look and feel might be possible themewise, as it's very simple, but the effects would need some major work in javascript to model them after what's there now. There are some things you could do similarly, like use the Couloiur slideshow Skwid and I put into the Thinkdreams theme to garner the same effect of the slides.

the effects i don't care that much :).. it's the lay-out that makes it nice already :)

It's definitely got potential. Why don't you give it a shot as your first foray into learning about PHP and web design? It would be a great way to learn more about it.

You would have to figure out a way to work with the zenphoto contexts a bit though because I would expect that to get that style look with the album/image pages on the same screen you would need to flip back and forth from ZP_ALBUM and ZP_IMAGE contexts to be able to display both albums and images on the same page like that.
