Hi, i'm trying since this afternoon to make work my site to show my photos and i can't get any thumbnails, any photos but i can see them in full size. I can't see the photos, both from the site and from the admin panel

I try to change my theme, re-upload photos via ftp, delete thumbnails from the admin page, i don't know what i can do as i don't have skills in developments or html : /.

Safari tells Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found). So something is wrong on your site.

You have to look into your Zenphoto's and your server's error log.

what am i supposed to find in the log ? I got a php log in the administration panel.

Then why do i have access to my site : / I'm not in local

Well, as the error says your file/folder permissions are not correct so Zenphoto cannot access the cached images. Please review the user guide about the correct permissions (setup should have noted about this in the first place).

and do i have to manage those permisions from the zp panel or my "provider" panel ?

Neither, via FTP.

The cache folder as noted in the error you got. How you exactly set permissions via FTP depends on your FTP client. Mine has a context menu for that.

Your FTP client should provides something to do that with all child items.

Otherwise you will have to do it via the console. Generally Zenphoto should do that correctly via Setup but some servers are configured "badly" so it cannot. Then things happen like you encounter. Maybe contact your host about that as it will happen again otherwise.

Yes it's the article i checked and as i said i got to do it for all albums / all photos / thumbnails, each time i open a photo : new thumbnail created -> got to check again permissions is set on 644 : /

Again, your server is misconfigured and does not create new files with the right permissions, You have contact your host about that.

There is no option on theZenphoto backend because it a) would not work for above reasons anyway and b) if your server was setup correctly you would not need them.
