I had a Zenphoto album from a version that was a couple years old, in which the gallery albums were accessed in the browser via simply the album directory. Something like this would bring up the album:

www.domainname.com/zenphoto/album-name/

Now that I've updated to a more current version however, this has changed to something less simple:

www.domainname.com/zenphoto/index.php?album=album-name

This is kind of a drag for me, because I use a custom html page to link to the albums (i.e. a page external from ZP, in fact several pages throughout my site). Previously it looked clean for my users, because again the address was merely a directory with the album name. Now with the index.php, surfers sometimes delete the "?album=album-name" part and get to only the index.php - which I don't use (it's not even set up design-wise, so it looks horrible).

I really preferred the freedom to link to my different albums from anywhere on my site without indicating that the index.php page exists. Is there a way to revert back to the previous "album directory" structure for links?

Thanks in advance.

Did you check if mod_rewrite is enabled on options->general ?

To add: Those modrewrite links are not accessing the album directory itself. Zenphoto never did this.
