How to change the frame size @ Album description?

In the backend I want to increase the size of the description field, because using the scroll bar all the time is it not so comfortable. And I am missing an visual overview while working on a document.

In the plugin settings I only find adjustments for "Custom thumb crop" and "Custom image size"

Thanks.

This is actually not related to TinyMCE. The album/image description is primarily meant for short texts. You cannot really adjust that (you could somehow use a plugin and a filter to modify CSS if needed….). However since we are going to rework the backend the field will be larger by default in the future possibly ;-)

But if you are using TinyMCE anyway there is a full screen button on its toolbar that I believe all default configurations have included. If not you can easily create your own config (see the user guide)

Btw, you can also make the field itself larger by dragging in the bottom right corner.

No, this option is not offered. I was looking for this.

This only works for the text-box itself but the frame remains and the scrollbar.

Not sure I understand, do we refer to the same thing? https://www.zenphoto.org/test/albumdesc-field-resize.jpg.html

To see what @Nordlicht means you have to set the site to multi-lingual.

The support build has now a CSS fix to allow resizing in multilingual mode. However it will not work in some browsers namely MS ones: https://caniuse.com/#search=resize%20property

Sorry! I didn't realise that multi-lingual would be important.

Which file received the CSS fix?

Thanks for your support!

There is only admin.css. It's right at the end, for this occasion you can just take this one file with the current release.
