Short version - don't!

ZenPhoto 1.6.4 - PHP 8.3.15
The "Admin/Upload" page only allows uploading images to 'real' albums (for fairly obvious reasons)
The "Admin/Albums/Edit Gallery" specifically states you can't move an album under a dynamic album (again for obvious reasons)

But...
"Admin/Albums/Edit Album" allows you to move that album under a dynamic album (I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS!)
"Admin/Albums/Images" allows moving an image under a dynamic album, either individually or in bulk. Like the schoolboy who can't resist touching paint to see if the "wet paint" sign is right, I moved a single image into a dynamic album... And wished I hadn't.

• The dynamic album vanished from public view...
• ... as did every album from there back to Gallery
• The dynamic album (and parents) vanished from "Admin/Albums" (so I couldn't delete the offending image)

I eventually worked out that the moved image had a renamed filename of the form {dynamic_album.alb.123456.jpg} - but I had to use FTP to delete it, then re-download the original to where 123456.jpg had originally been located. Then flush various cache's...

Might be an idea, for both consistency and safety, if all places that let you download or move files or folders, hide dynamic albums from the drop down menu.

Thanks for the bug report. Of course dynamic albums should not be listed in the selector for moving and copying images or albums. We will look into that for the next version (1.6.6).

For your info there is a change in the support build 1.6.6a now.
