I want to have the same date for every image. And the same copyright line (no idea where this actually displays), same credit for every image. Is there a way of "mass adding" this? I see mass-edit but these items aren't showen.

Why don't you just hard code that in your theme page(s), if it's the same for all anyway?

Okay, which page do I use index.php? I have no problem doing that just not sure which page. If I open the page in Dreamweaver, will I be okay? For some reason PHP pages won't open in Safari offline. (I'm using OS X 10.3.9 version, not most updated.) I do want to look around as I wanted to add other component once I get images done with all the captioning.

Which page you have to use depends on what you want to do.... We have only 3 main theme pages, is that really so hard to find out...:-)

You can open php files in Dreamweaver for editing. Of course PHP files (and zenphoto) needs a server to run. You need a offline server environment if you want that like this www.mamp.info

It seems it wasn't not knowing which page more so the content is server-side so I didn't see it Just looking at the link for MAMP. It's very, very large so will have to install as late-night download. Will postpone modifying until then. Thanks for the tip, didn't know of Mac offline server as most forums I've been on are PC users only
