While logged in as Admin under Options. When I press Theme Options nothing happens. I have added error logging to the top of the admin.php file but still nothing happens. This occurs with every theme I've tried including the default theme.

What am I doing wrong?

Is there a themeoptions.php file in the theme's folder?

There is, it's just the default install. The permissions are:

-rwxrwxrwx 1 karl karl 2862 2008-02-26 20:39 search.php
drwxrwxrwx 2 karl karl 4096 2008-02-29 20:46 styles

Same permissions on the zp-core folder.

This problem is usually caused by a missing java script file. Be sure all the js files that came with the zenphoto install are in fact present on the server.

I just unzipped the download to this folder so it's a bit of a mystery if some files went missing. I'll have a go with the 1.1.6 update when that comes see if that fixes it.

Have you any idea which folder or javascript file I might be missing? I have the http cache script working so I don't want to have to go back and make those changes again if possible.

I have 15k photos that took me some days to cache, how do I avoid having to do that again? Surely you must have a clue as to which file(s) or folders are missing. Would the theme folder be a good place to start?

Just don't overwrite the albums and cache folder, just reupload the zp-core and themes folder.

I downloaded the .gz file this time (using FC8), unpacked and chmod 777 everything, no change. Still can't use the theme options. Tried in Safari and in Firefox. In IE7 it says the Admin page has an error on it.

Line 321
Char 3
Error 'undefined' is null or not an object
code 0
URL http://kpg-raid/zenphoto/zp-core/admin.php?page=options

Still can't get the theme's options tab to do anything.

When I try to visit the above URL, I get Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. In fact, the whole site gives that result. Is the URL correct?

Aye, it wasn't open to the internet, sorry a bit misleading. Try www.kpgconsulting.com however you won't have admin access.... if you want a username/pw how should I get it to you privately?

Hi, sometimes this trouble could be due to your hoster (that disable certains php functions).
Can you act on the scrolling menu in options/comment configuration/spam filter ?
Same trouble ...

To be sure : make your installation on local and you will see that it's working !

I have no issue for this but I'm pretty sure this is due to my/your hoster.

Any CGI errors? The options are handled by java script routines.
