The Zenphoto team is pleased to announce the release of Zenphoto 1.2.1. This is a bugfix release with a ton of fixes from 1.2, so we recommend everyone upgrade as soon as possible. See the news site for a full changelog.

As always, use the bugtracker at http://www.zenphoto.org/trac/newticket to submit issues, or the forums to get help or discuss. Thanks!

Shouldn't the title of this subject read 'Zenphoto 1.2.1 is out! Upgrade now' since 1.2 was the prev version? - Anyway, thanks fine peeps keep up the good work, zenphoto rocks hehe

Hi,
anyway knows then v2.0 is planned for release? If i remember correctly when I looked at the roadmap at the beginning of the year the date was there (end of 2008) but now it's gone... am i crazy and it was never released or it's just being postponed indefinitively?

Postponed indefinitively is maybe not the right term. Currently there is no date set: http://www.zenphoto.org/trac/roadmap
Also we already have many features that were orginally planned for later versions. We are a small team so we really can't say anything definate about dates.

@ acrylian,
ok, thanks. Just a note, I was not trying to criticize ;-)
Also, fyi flogr (http://flogr.googlecode.com/) implements already something you planned for v2 (pulling pics from flickr). I didn't read the copyrights note that came with it, but perhaps you could use some of its code (my example gallery here http://www.reda-ek.com/expo/)

@reda: No problem, I didn't get it as "critizsm". My post came out a little too serious, Sorry.
