I'm writing a plugin that takes metadata from a file and adds it to an image/video. I have based this on the filter-new_objects.php plugin. This works well when I am adding new videos/images, but I would also like the functions to be called when I select "refresh metadata" from the edit albums page. So a couple of questions:

1. Is the new_image filter called on a "refresh metadata"?
2. If not does the equivalent of an "update_image" filter exist?

The answer to both questions is NO. But probably the answer to #2 should be yes, so we will add that. Should be in tonights nightly build.
