I have problem in zenphoto-1.2.5. If I try to create new album and upload a photo, it hangs with message: "Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/m1c4a1/public_html/galerie/zp-core/exif/exif.php on line 164". After it if I try to open my gallery in normal viewing, it hangs in the albums listing and instead of displaying the album thumbnail it shows the timeout message again.
I have no such problems using zenphoto-1.2.4. I have to notice that I'm not able to upload a photo using the new uploader at all, I have to use the older uploader.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.11 on Linux, lighttpd 1.4.20 and MySQL 5.0.70.

The first error is most likely a problem with one (or more) of your images' EXIF/IPTC data. I see no reason why this would be a problem new to the 1.2.5 release, though.

The new uploader is Flash based. You may need to enable flash or upgrade your flash to the latest version to get it to functions.

Or you just use the old still available upload or FTP directly.

I'm using the old uploader, but because of the "exif bug" I don't use version 1.2.5.
If I upload the file using FTP (or just copy files in album/ directory), will Zenphoto recognize new directories, create thumbnails etc.? I thought there must be a record in database about new directories.

Zenphoto will discover your any new album/image you upload. FTP is ususally the prefered way to upload if you are doing more than one image.
