I have been trying to make this plugin work but no luck so far. I receive no mails.

I've been reading some threads here in the forum but I cannot find the answer.
My web server told me that the php mail() function is working fine so that's not the problem. I'm using Zenphoto version 1.2.4 [3716] (Official Build), PHP version: 5.2.9, MySQL version: 5.0.81.

Does anybody know what's happening here? Thanks for the time!! I appreciate it

The current release of Zenphoto is v1.2.5, so you are on an old version. You might want to upgrade. Do you get mails if you post comments? If you enter a captacha on the login form? If not, then yor server has told you an untruth.

I have updated zenphoto but still no luck with the contact form. So I assume I should get another server provider right? 'cause there's no luck with posting comments either.
In fact, the text that the plug options comes with (confirm text, intro text...) is not showing, so maybe I'm doing something very wrong, but don't know what

Maybe> how are you using the contact form? The current nightly builds (soon to be Zenphoto 1.2.6) have now implemented the contact form in all the distributed themes. So if you are trying to add the form to one of those it might be best to try the nightly.

You did not answer the question about getting other mails--comment notification or password reset notifications. But then if the form is not behaving correctly maybe the problem is with its use.

I have the same problem, notifications about new comments are coming but messages via contact form are not.

Have you entered a mail address on the contact_form plugin options? Btw, the contact_form of 1.2.6 has the version 1.2.6, too. Be sure you use the right one.
