When I try to refresh te database I get this error:

"Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /home/org/chemika/www/zen/zp-core/functions-db.php on line 120"

I don't know anything serious about PHP, but I guess this might be because the database is just getting to big? How can I work arround?

What version of Zenphoto? Refreshing the database should not take that much memory. What else is running? Also, what versions of PHP, MySQL?

Zenphoto versie 1.2.3 [3427] (Official Build)
PHP versie: 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.7
MySQL versie: 5.0.51a

The reason I'm still running an older version of Zenphoto is to make sure the theme integration keeps on working (modified it quite a lot^^). I guess that shouldn't give the problem...

I'm also running a wiki and a forum on the same database, but that shouldn't be a problem either or does it?

Well, sorry, but we cannot be much help to you then. We can afford our efforts only on the current Zenphoto versions.

Just deleted 5 pictures (I was asked to) on a total of +/- 10 000 pictures, and it works again^^

And after adding some pictures the problem was back... I upgraded to the latest version of Zenphoto this time but the problem wasn't solved. Error message while trying to refresh the database is:

Tried the nightly build, now the DB refesh page keeps on displaying this:

Refresh Database
Database refresh is incomplete
This process should continue automatically. If not press:
Continue!

And what happens if you press "continue"?

The page seems to be reloaded then and the same message appears again...

Maybe a stupid question, but is there any practical restriction on the number of pictures in the gallery or the size of the DB?

Okay, did some sort of clean installation of all the files, now it does work using the latest nightly build! Thanks a lot!!
