I want to use the text-watermark plugin, but i cannot find documentation on how to install or use it...

Is it correct that there is a map 'text-watermark with 'createwatermark.php' in it, and the htm info file, and outside of that map is 'text_watermark.php'? looks strange to me.

and i dont see the text on my photo's (empty cache, recached)

Yes, there is a folder and a file, that is standard structure of plugins that have additional files. Place both in the plugins folder. It is a n older plugin and may not work in the /plugins folder (I think it is from before that change). Try the zp-core/zp-extensions instead.

Generally it is not a official supported plugin (although sbillard made it) and provided "as is" (indicated by the red icon). I also have never tried it myself.

The plugin was designed for the current external plugin structure. Install as acrylian decribes initially. Emable it and create your watermarks.

The text watermark plugin simply creates a watermark for you. It will have a name based on the text you entered. You must also assign that watermark to whatever you wish to have it applied.

i did, it says 'watermark created' but it doesnt appear in the watermark options..

Any errors regarding permissions maybe?

no, nothing.

The file should show up in your zenphoto/plugins/watermarks folder. If it does not you got some kind of error and will have to find that error and report it to us.

You have to find your server's error log. Ask your host if you don't know.

Well, I have no idea what that error message means. Maybe it is file permissions on the plugins folders? That is the script that acutally makes the watermark png image.
