I'm surprised that this has not been noticed but we've done extensive testing with Zen Photo and we simply can't get the description to copy over when you move a photo to another album or copy it to another album. It simply strips it out and leaves it blank. We've tested this on the mac an on the PC with the same results and on many browsers. This is a very important part of the software in my opinion and it would be great if you could look into fixing this. My developer took a stab at it and he couldn't begin to figure out why it was deleting the description when moved.

There was a bug in that feature in earlier versions. Are you really using 1.2.8?

We are also having the exact same problem with the description being removed after moving a photo to another album. The version that we are using is 1.2.8, so it does not seem to be fixed. Are there any solutions available?

It is best when you find a problem to submit a ticket to be sure that attention gets paid to id. Sorry, but for some reason I did not see this thread until JWD3610's post.

At anyway, I have found and fixed the problem. Change will be included in tonight's build.

Was the copy-move fix included in the build as planned? We downloaded the 1/30 build and still have a move error. The copy seems to work but not the move> I'll be sure to create a ticket.

It is in, and works when I try it. Maybe your issue is something different?
