Hi,
I just installed zenphoto on my webspace and everything works fine, but the display of EXIF data. I checked the database table and all fields are empty. Am I missing something fundamental?
I use a Nikon D90 and LightZone for postprocessing. Is that somehow making EXIF unavailable for zenphoto? I can read the data with other applications, so I am sure it is not stripped.
Can you point me in the right direction?
Thx
Dennis
Have you tried a metadata refresh? If so, could you post an image with metadata? Perhaps it is somehow corrupted.
Zenphoto should not change the metadata in the image itself. It just reads from it.
Hm, applications like Flickr are able to read the EXIF information.
Here is one example

Thx,

You do realize, don't you that unless we can access the original image there is no way to tell what is happening. Your site never comes back from clicking on that image.
But most likely your problem is that the metadata of that image is not standard EXIF/IPTC data. That would depend on how the data was created. Maybe it is XML data. In that case you need to configure the XMP plugin.
The XMP plugin was a good advice and at least it reads now some of the metadata.
The photo itself can be accessed here http://brainclutter-org.geckocraze.com/test/DSC_0813_lzn.jpg
