Dear friends,

today I'd like to announce the first release of a Lightroom publishing service for Zenphoto. The first release is version 0.3 - so some functions are still missing - but the main objective to manage you photos via Lightroom Publishing service is working.

The plugin works with a two way sync - so you are able to update your Lightroom catalog without adding all images manually.

Important: you don't need to change any files of your Zenphoto installation but you have to copy the webservice files (PHP code) to your server.

Hi acrylian, thanks for adding, but please can you correct the link. When I follow the "more info and download" link in the 3rd party extentions it will not open the right page. The link is "http://www.zenphoto.org/2010/06/lightroom-2-zenphoto-publishing-service/http-//www.elementalshoots.com/blog/tutorial/scripts/lightroom-2-zenphoto-publishing-service" is wrong and I guess that a '=' anywhere is missing ;-)

Ah, sorry, fixed.

As a note, Lars has stopped development on this plugin, but he did open source it (good for him!). I've been continuing development at http://code.google.com/p/zenphoto-publisher/ - and more people are welcome to join the project if interested.

Thanks for the note, I will update the extensions entry. I have renamed the entry to just "lightroom publishing service" as the version number is really missleading.

I have posted a issue on the download site for this publisher, un fortunately it has not been read yet and addressed. Is there any I can get help on Zenphoto Lightroom Publisher?

I would really be a little more patient is has just been just a few days since you posted your issue report there.

Acryian, sorry about the haste, but as of today (month later) I have not see any solution to the issues on the Lightroom sync.

Further more by posting here I was just covering all bases as I was not sure when the developer reads the various forums. It also show the developer what interest there is in his product.

Not every one visits this forum regulary. It seems lokkju has responded there but perhaps he just has other priorities at the moment than looking into this.

I am sorry you will have to wait or try yourself. I neither use lightroom nor this tool.
