Sorry, maybe I'm blind or something like that. But I don't find how to create a new album and how to upload photos.

Unter the tab "upload" I have this:

Upload to: "/"
Make a new Album
and Publish the album so everyone can see it.
called:
with the folder name:
Auto-generate

But there is no button like "create" or "OK" or something like this. If I select "Make a new Album" and "called: = Test" and then I simply hit Enter I get only the error message: "Something went wrong... You must upload at least one file." But I can not select any file. There is no selection box.

Very confused.

After you entered a title as you described five upload buttons should appear below the form. If they don't appear you have either an old browser, javascript disabled or I don't know. So please tell us what Zenphoto version you use and which browser.

You can always upload directly via ftp, too.

I am running into this same problem on a new installation. I am using both Firefox 3.5.11 and IE 7 and the same behavior is seen on both browsers. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. Also, files added with ftp don't show up in the gallery view or the admin view (everything is published).

Browsers: chrome 5.0.375.125 and Firefox 3.6.8 (from ubuntu)
Zenphoto v 1.3.1 downloaded today (8/28/2010)
Php v 5.3.2

ahh, just fixed it. Turns out it was a php problem, I installed php5-gd but never restarted apache, now everything works.

(since I didn't have image extensions, no images, including the submit buttons on the upload page could be loaded)
