I enabled the plugin flag-thumbnail, but when I choose text "NEW" for new albums and images, the text isn't showing on my album or image thumbs. And I checked "use text".
When I choose the star icon for new albums and images, the star is showing on album and image thumbs.
Why can't I get the text "NEW" showing? I use the latest Zenphoto 1.4.1.2
I installed Zenphoto for a friend of mine and also used the plugin flag-thumbnail with text "NEW" for new albums and images and on her site text "NEW" is displayed on album and image thumbs.
Can you help me with this problem?

You might need to adjust the CSS for the theme used. Sorry, don't remember the details but we use the icon version on our own site (not showing currently).

When I enabled the plugin for my friend her Zenphoto I didn't have to make changes in the CSS. I used theme effervescence plus and changed the colors in Kish-my father style. No problems occured there. For my Zenphoto I used the same theme with the same style with modified colors and flag_thumbnail text isn't working.
I'll search the css (what I already did several times) and otherwise I'll continue to use the icon

If it works on your friend's install and not on yours something must be different between the two. You probably need to find out what that is.

I'll look into it. Normally everything is the same : the theme and the theme style. I'll search untill I find it.
I'll compare the CSS one to another to see if there are any differences.

Searched everything and didn't found what could be wrong. It's a pity, because I really would have liked to have the text "NEW" on my new albums and photos, because it looks really good on my friend her site.

Did you see the checkbox at the end of the flag_thumbnail plugin options that says: [i] Use text[/i] ?

The flag_thumbnail.php file seems a bit corrupted.
I see lots of '» '. things in the function getOptionsSupported()
It works though.

What shows on in the plugin options display? It maybe just that your editor is not showing UTF-8? That should simply be the » character itself.

You were right. A misconfigured editor.

I noticed the checkbox and checked "use text", but the text is not showing. Really don't know what's wrong.
