Hi folks, i've already read some threads in forums about this issue but i have no idea how to solve it.

I.e my Zenphoto install is something like this:

http://mywebsite.com/zenphoto/

If i access that way through the navigator, everything is ok

But i requested my hosting service to make a sub-domain to point right to the zenphoto directory, and there's the issue.

I.e my new subdomain is:

http://pictures.mywebsite.com

When i try to access isn't possible cuz the message "setup script missing" appears.

What i've to change to make it work? As i readed b4 in this this forums seems like z.p saves some info about the domain somewhere.

You have to decided how you want to call Zenphoto via (sub)domain or folder if you are using mod-rewrite. The htaccess file requires a rewrite base. That is /zenphoto on the first and just / on the 2nd.

That is why setup wants to run to set this rewrite base. You can also manually change the .htaccess file if you like.

Otherwise re-upload the setup files (setup.php and the folder to /zp-core). You are requested again to delete these after installing for security reasons (you did yourself actually once before).

Ok, i was thinking something like that but i can't figure out how to do it, because i haven't access to the server!

I saw something about a workaround deleting "test" stuff.

I'll try to contact my hosting to see what happens and let you know if there's some progress, otherwise i'd like to check for some trick with it.

If the setup files are gone (which is normally a good thing) the ONLY way to get them back it to re-upload them. If you do not have access to the server to do this you will have to ask your provider to do it for you.

Normally you would do this via FTP as you would also do the upload of a new release of Zenphoto. If you cannot access your site from FTP you really ought to complain to the provider as you will be pretty well stuck with whatever they stick you with.
