sorry that you are out of ideas. i don't really think we had any ideas here.
SORRY ... you are right. i could install from your site .... i'm hoping i learned enough here to know how to do it. it seems a bit complicated ??? but i guess i can try without deleteing what i have ?? until i see it's successful. i do love using zenphoto that is why i didn't want to give up
i hope the next time i post here i can tell you i was successful.
I would recommend starting fresh just in case the problem might get left behind from what you have. Maybe try in a new folder as a test. Also use a new database prefx.
Installing is not really that complicated so long as you know your database credentials.
Just use FTP to upload the files and browse to ...\zp-core\setup.php. Setup will then ask for the DB credentials and you will be on your way. There may be some warnings. But things warned should not need to be corrected for most sites.
As to the logs, there is a Reset function, different from the Refresh. The latter just displays again what is in the log. The former will erase the log and start fresh. You should do the reset before your experiment so we know that any errors are the result of the new install.
yes. you can not only presume that, you can state it as fact.
i came here orignally hoping for a quick fix - like uncheck this box. but... had that been the case i would not have learned everything i did in the past few days. thank you for your patience. i'm happy and a bit smarter.
