I just found Zen this morning. My site is www.dwighttevuk.com January 15th page is the first day using zen. I have been uploading lots of pics. I will update everything some more after i figure it out. For now i just have 2 more months worth of pics to upload. I love the ftp so i can bulk upload each days worth of pics.
I love Zen! I've been using it since before 1.0. I've got 14 or 15 galleries - most of it rather family-and-friends-sharing oriented. But that's the best kind!
Well, after a month or so of harassing all of you on the forum I finally have something worth submitting. My site is called Phauxshow. It is a multi-media, art magazine/gallery.
I make use of a few image plug-ins and packages but give the big job to Zenphoto. The gallery uses the default theme with many a modification. I had no knowledge of web design going into it and quite truthfully could not have pulled it off without the help of all of you on this forum, the wonderful moderators, Steffen Ruzee for his tutorial on integrating Wordpress headers into Zenphoto and Bert Simons for his explanation on the image page thumbnails.
My site is just starting out and is still a little rough around the edges but here you go..
Zen Photo is great. I've spent the last few months try different gallery programs and the winner is zen photo by far. My site is http://www.vidamiaphoto.com. You can view the gallery by going to the portfolio section. We'll be updating with new photos soon.
bjammin001, the site does not work correctly in Safari 3.1, I can only view some images. It says load and then the thumb disapears leaving two small white frames within the thumb frame.
And in both Firefox 2 and Safari the whole site is positioned too far right. You might want to check that.
Thank you much for the feedback. I'll work on fixing that. Is it possible the images aren't loading correctly since I'm reloading them all at the moment?
edit: I just downloaded Safari for Vista and am getting the same problem with the images not loading. I'm guessing Safari doesn't support highslide as the only modifications I made to the theme was to change the CSS defined colors.
Safari does support Highslide (just to mention, you know that highslide is not free for commercial use?), I guess it has indeed to do with preloading allimages. That is by the way not really a good idea, since it may slow down the site for slower connections (and there are still).
Our site is a comunity site for expatriate oil workers in Nigeria.

We used the default theme and integrated it with our site look and feel. we have had loads of "well done" messages with particular praise for the photo gallery, all that is down to you guys.
You might notice from the folder info, we originally used Coppermine (which is good) but we changed it to zenphoto as it is so easy to use.
The website is fully XHTML 1.0 strict and CSS 2.1 compliant and makes use of image maps, layout fully controlled by CSS and uses a MySQL database to generate content.
I included zenphoto in this phpsite for some weeks. Then I changed the whole system and in last weeks I worked on an integration of zenphoto in the new wordpress-system. And now - here it is:
the gallery is integrated in a CMS, done with CMSIMPLE and I customized the german language file to fit our needs + I customised the comment-function for getting in contact with the painter ;=) kind of contact form..
I like zenphoto and the painter is very happy with the galery, he just needs to add some better descriptions ...
