I had a friend create my website and home page, who is no longer available. I can create albums, sub-albums and upload photos, but do not know how to change the home page images. I have found out their file names (and locations) but do not know how to upload new images to these locations. I am not very literate with computing terms! Help???

Sorry, if this is not a standard and official theme we cannot help as we don't know how this one might be setup.

If those front page images are not images in the albums you probably have to modify the theme directly. Please read the theming tutorial on our user guide to learn the theming basics first. YOu will need to have general knowledge of html and such in any case.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Can I change the theme to make sure it is one of your officially supported themes (but I believe it is the one called 'effervescence+) and keep the links to the other albums I have created?

Switching themes will not loose any content. It is just that custom themes might offer extra functionality a standard theme does not.

Efferscences+ is an supported theme but offers several styles so we would need to know which you use. See the theme options on the backend.
