I installed the newest version. When I went in to change the admin password it send an email with updated link. Link opened properly, but when I attempted to change the admin password, kept coming up with an error. I could never get back in at all!

I then uninstalled the application, deleted all related files and did another install. This time, I didn't mess with the admin assigned password since I didn't want to get locked in the loop again. I instead tried adding another admin user with all privledges. When I tried to log in with the new admin name & password that I picked, it threw me right back into the "reset" email loop.

I'm not database or code savvy, but I'd really like to fix this. Thanks for any help.

Sorry, but I am not understanding you. Zenphoto does not assign admin passwords. Have you used some kind of install script to install it?

All we provide and can support is installing Zenphoto by uploading the files and running the setup script.

Yes, I installed it using Simple Scripts through hostmonster. They assigned an admin password. When I went through the Zenphoto application to set up the site, I got to the login page. I logged in as admin and used the password provided by simple scripts. That worked fine. Once at the options page in the admin dashboard, I tried to change the password I was assigned.

Once I changed the password on the dashboard page, that's when I ended up in the endless loop of trying to reset the password. The dashboard would register it had been saved and updated, but when I would logout and try to login again using the new password it kicked me back to the "reset password" loop. At that point, even the previously working password (from Simple Scripts) wouldn't let me login. That's when I reinstalled, and tried adding another admin user, with the same results.

Does that make more sense? I think the problem lies within the password changing page, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Thanks.

I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately, we have no idea what simplescripts is doing. Others have also had problems like you describe using simplescripts and other such install scripts. You will have to contact the simplescripts people about this one. Nothing we can do to help you here.
