I see your new app 'zpminimal' has cool icons to link to facebook twitter and digg. Is it possible to have these as an option in zpGalleriffic?

I'm pretty new to zenphoto/zenpage, and I like this theme. but I wonder if there anyway I can use the old 1.0 album layout in 1.4? I like the old 1.0 album layout with the thumbnail at the left side.

I noticed few people posted earlier regarding this. ParoXsitiC for instance among the earliest, but still no update on this?

Anyway, I've already have both version, and already used the old 1.0 for few months, until recently I decided to change to the new 1.4 as I found it better suited for my need, except for the album layout. If only there is anyway I can use the old 1.0 album layout into the new 1.4, it will be nicer for me.

Now, if there any option for this, or anyway this can be done, it will be most appreciate if anyone can tell me how.

And yes, I meant ONLY for the album layout, not the entire theme.

You can compare the old and new album.php scripts. The changes for Zenphoto 1.4 are most likely up towards the front of the scripts. Apply them to the old version and give it a try.

Hi there,

I am new to this so excuse the n00b questions (if they are).

I am trying to change the image preview that it seems to do by default in any gallery. Ive tried going through the settings/options and cant seem to change this.

In any given gallery,there is the thumbnail strip down the
bottom, and when you click on any of the images there, and a preview comes up in the main window. This is
either enlarged or cropped, and you then have to click on that
enlarged image to bring up the actual full sized image(hopefully that makes sense!)

Is there anyway of replacing that preview image area with
the thumbnail gallery? So then all you have to do is click on a thumbnail and the full size image appears?

Using the latest version of the zpGalleriffic theme and it looks great. I do get one error though, and am unsure how to resolve:

• From my gallery I hit the "Archive/Search" link. The page loads fine, including the expandable menu on the right side of the page. I can expand the years as well, but whenever I click on any given month I receive the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/azimuth/htdocs/gallery/zp-core/template-functions.php on line 456

Most likely a call on the function from a "wrong" location. But the theme author will have to comment.

There must have been some changes with the latest release, as it works fine on my demo with the previous release:

Have not checked all my themes with the latest release. I hope to get that done with any fixes needed within the next few days...

I don't think we changed that much in 1.4.0.4. It's just a bugfix release.

But since 1.4.1 is not too far away it would be wise to check the development build with them already.

@mook - updated my demo and it seems to be ok for me. Your search is totally broken on your site, not just the archive links. Not sure what the issue would be, but it does not seem to be theme related.

Hmm, you're right, it's any search! :( Very strange - best I can do is try a fresh reinstall, we'll see how it goes.

Well damn - also tried the Default theme and the Effervescent theme, they both give identical error messages on Search. sigh

Seems like it's not theme-specific after all, but from Zen Photo itself. Sorry 'bout that. Not sure where to start digging from here.

I would suggest opening a new thread and make sure you state what version of php and database system you are using on your server.

Hi. I'm brand new to Zenphoto and have just installed it with zpGallerific. On the main slideshow, is it possible to have the file Description in addition to the Title below the photo. I use the description all the time to provide information about the location of the photo and to me therefore it makes perfect sense to display it.

I'm happy to be told of which file I need to edit and what I need to put in to achieve this if anyone can assist.

On the home page, if I click on the item "News" in the menu bar, the page 'news' does not appear.
The link is "http://www.monsite.fr/" instead of "http://www.monsite.fr/news".

Probably you have the option "news on index" checked.
