I have several photographs that I would like to have in two separate albums. Right now, I uploaded a copy of the image in each album. But I have several dynamic albums and these photographs are, of course, showing up twice.

Can I work around this by editing the MySQL database so that a single copy of the image will show up in both albums? Any way to do this from the ZenPhoto administration page?

Thanks

I guess you could add specific tags to your images and do a search for those tags to create your dynamic albums.
That way images with tag x appear in one dynamic album and images with tag y in another.

Zenphoto is file system based regarding albums and images. The only way to have an image showing up several times while having only one image file is to use dynamic albums (=saved searches).

The tag/dynamic album is the way to go. For instance, for a while I had images I would tag as "featured" and then a dynamic album for featured tag. That dynamic was then where I used a random image display on splash/index.
